Terms and Conditions

PRICESPrices are those in effect on the date of shipment and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to decline the whole or part of orders in which the price or quantity of goods is not satisfactory to us.
QUANTITY PRICINGQuantity pricing is available when sales volume in an order is over the amount as stated in the price list.
TERMSNet 10 days on established credit. If you wish to obtain an “Open Account” with us, please complete our credit application in full and return to us by mail. Please allow ample time for processing. Pending approval orders will be shipped C.O.D. and should be paid by money order or certified bank check. Please remit payment to: Capella Hardware Co., 1570 N Harmony Circle, Anaheim, CA 92807.
RETURNED CHECKSA $25 service charge will be made for any check returned from the bank for insufficient funds.
FREIGHTAll prices are quoted F.O.B. Anaheim, California. All deliveries or shipments will be shipped via “Common Carrier”, or “United Parcel Service” freight collect. Full freight will be allowed on shipments of $3,000 net and over within the continental limits of United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii. We reserve the right to designate the carrier and route.
DELIVERYIn all “Common Carrier” shipments, the transportation company is responsible for merchandise after having accepted it for shipment in good order. All claims and correspondence for loss and damaged material must be made against the transportation company. All orders shipped by “Common Carrier” must be cartooned. An additional charge will be added for any “special packaging” necessary.
ORDERINGAll orders are accepted subject to availability of merchandise. We will not be held responsible for strikes or accidents or any other cause beyond our control.
MINIMUM ORDER REQUIREMENTSDue to necessary cost to process an invoice, all orders will be subjected to a minimum billing charge of $50.
CLAIMSClaims or defective material, shortages, or errors will not be considered unless reported within five (5) working days after receipt of shipment.
RETURNSReturns will not be accepted without our authorization. All authorized returns will be subjected to a fifteen percent (15%) restocking charge plus freight.
SPECIALSWe will not assume responsible for errors in phone orders, particularly “Special Orders”, unless written confirmation is received prior to processing.
“Special Orders” will not be accepted from a C.O.D. account without payment in advance.
Specials cannot be returned.
PRODUCTS GUARANTEEEvery product is guaranteed against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one full year. This guarantee is void if the product has been subjected to improper installation or mechanical damage indicative of obvious mistreatment or abuse.
No circumstances will we be held responsible for labor charges occurring from job site repair or replacements.
